Katie began in the social and digital space before there was an ability to measure it. It all began on an election campaign in Australia in 2008 when she convinced her boss that they needed to jump in. Ever taught a politician to tweet before a radio interview mid-election? Katie has.
Skip forward, and across the pond to Texas where Katie has been curiously creating and implementing digital and social media strategy for a broad industry of clients including healthcare, e-commerce, IT security, financial, oil & gas, and non-profits. In all those industries, one thing is common – the strategy needs to be measured.
Not afraid of the hustle mentality, Katie launched Digital Wing to be a safe space for small and medium-sized businesses. Digital Wing launched right before COVID-19 reached Houston in 2020. In the company’s first year, the goals were clear: keep the local economy moving using a pocket filled with digital tactics learned over the previous decade. Together, the Digital Wing team drove client growth, engagement, and revenue during an unstable hard season. And they’ve only got room to work harder. We are particularly partial to HTown hustlers.
